Overview
TRAC Explorer is a blockchain explorer designed to make network, transaction and address data easier to inspect and understand. I was primarily responsible for frontend development while also contributing to real-time data processing, security improvements, debugging, deployment and holder-related functionality.
The challenge
Blockchain explorers need to present continuously changing technical data while remaining readable, responsive and reliable. The work involved not only displaying blockchain information, but also investigating technical issues across the product and improving its production readiness.
What I worked on

Real-time data
I worked on processing and presenting real-time data within the interface.
Security
I contributed to security hardening and improvements to the application's security configuration and HTTP security headers.
Debugging & optimisation
I investigated technical issues, fixed bugs and improved existing functionality and reliability.
Deployment
I independently handled application deployments and supported the product through development and production iterations.
Holder data
I collaborated on a microservice used to provide holder-related data to the explorer.
