Overview
I worked on the TRAC Faucet across the full technical lifecycle, from planning the architecture and implementing the frontend and backend to security, workers, monitoring, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
The challenge
A faucet is a small product on the surface, but it still needs reliable request handling, abuse prevention, monitoring and operational visibility. The project required thinking beyond the interface and covering the complete application lifecycle.
What I worked on
I planned and structured the core technical architecture of the application.
I implemented both frontend and backend functionality, including API and data-processing flows.
I implemented application security measures and worked on improving the reliability of the service.
I set up and managed workers required by the application's processing flow.
I implemented and maintained logging and monitoring to support debugging and operational visibility.
I deployed the application, investigated production issues and continued improving it after launch.
